Business support and office manager

Full time position

Minimum of 5 years experience

Salary £23 – 27,000 based on experience and performance

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude; this is a newly created general office manager and administrator role, which has the potential for the right candidate to shape and take on more business development tasks as the role evolves to support anticipated business growth.”


·         Manage and build customer relationships

·         Raise sales invoices

·         Maintain accurate records

·         Liaise with suppliers

·         Assist in scheduling site work and issuing documentation to customers

·         Answer general emails and postal correspondence with customers and suppliers

·         Reception duties, including answering incoming calls and scheduling appointments

·         Document risk assessment procedure for client work as directed

·         Update and audit the company’s systems, databases, and procedures

·         Manage the company’s social media accounts and keep up to date and current trends

·         Liaise with customers for sale of additional services, including pricing, scheduling and invoicing of works

·         Maintain a quote database and ensure follow up action is taken to both win and deliver work

·         Update project monitoring systems

·         Provides administrative support for the director as needed

·         Manage company stock and ordering in of items

·         Deal with HR issues

·         Manage health and safety as well as fire regulations within the office

·         Negotiate and manages insurance and other office services contracts

·         Manage health and safety accreditation

·         Carry out ad hoc research and tasks as requested by the director

·         Walk the company Beagle occasionally!


You will need:

·         Prior office management experience

·         Good IT skills

·         Knowledge of, or interest in, lighting, sound, AV, electrical or similar industries

·         Good communication skills andexcellent customer care skills

·         Exceptional organisation skills

·         Ability to work from own initiative and to prioritise effectively

·         Skills to help develop the business
