I would like to thank you for responding to our request for a new sound system so quickly and
efficiently. The whole process was very easy and even when there was a slight problem it was
dealt with immediately. The staff who installed our system were amazingly quick and the whole
thing was explained simply and clearly to our staff.
The new sound system is great, it will also allow us flexibility of use. Being able to operate it from
the back or the front of the hall will make a huge difference to all our productions. Year 6 used it
in the first week for their class assembly and for the first time every child was able to participate
with confidence that they would be heard at the back of the hall. Today the system will be used
for our school disco and has already saved us the necessity for employing an outside DJ.

I am just writing to say how happy we are with the sound and light
system that has recently been installed at our school.
From the very start of the process, Chris the Managing Director showed himself to be friendly, helpful and professional. He initially came in to provide us With a quote. He listened to our needs and was able to offer expert advice on what would suit us best. We actually had a cheaper quote from another company, but decided to go with School Stage because of the personal input involved. This turned out to be a very good decision.
All work was carried out very professionally and we hardly noticed
such major work had been carried out. The system installed is both

feedback after this year's school show was amazing - it looked and

After the installation, any issues or requests we had have been dealt
with very effectively. This included an emergency call to one of School Stage team half an hour before our end of year production was due to start. One of the children had pressed some buttons on the light desk and we couldn't get it to work. They talked me through what to do at 6:30pm to get the show on the road.

We had been looking for a company who would be able to help us upgrade the sound system in our school hall, as the old one wasn't meeting our requirements any more. A couple of years ago School Stage supplied and installed stage lights in our drama studio and we were happy with the work they carried out.
The new sound system was installed within a reasonable timescale and after a few issues the system was up and running. We use the system regularly from everyday assemblies, which only require a laptop and a microphone, to school productions, where we use up to 20 different sound inputs. We would recommend School Stage as a reliable company that have a good understanding of school requirements.

School Stage was contracted and worked on a highly successful full production of Daisy Pulls it Off here at Townley Grammar School for Girls where we run what amounts to a Regional Theatre. At the time we did not have Production/Technical manager and School Stage sent Toby one of their technicians and took on this function together with lighting design and sound and light operation.
Toby trained students and inexperienced adults in the use of hardware. He developed appropriate working relationships in a short space of time with the Director and others. I would, without doubt, recommend School Stage and their team to other schools.

Thanks to Chris and School Stage for transforming our two dull school halls into vibrant performance spaces! Assemblies and school performances have been brought to life by the skilful installation of lighting, sound systems and Curtains that can be easily used by children and staff. It is wonderful to see children developing confidence in speaking and listening as they present and perform in this magical space.
Chris and his staff were able to work with our staff to ensure that School Stage created systems that were tailored to our requirements and were realised within budget. Chris and the team are experts in creating systems that are right for each school's unique requirements. Upon completion and with our summer production approaching we felt some changes had to be made as well as additions. School stage has been responsible for our stage lighting for many years. They have organised and fixed the lights for our summer productions at a reasonable price.
Recently School stage fitted a permanent stage lighting installation for us in conjunction with our schools re-wiring programme organised by the cwnewton group. At our school we needed a professional hand to oversee the sound, lighting and general a/v design and execution for our musical, "Merrily We Roll Along" (by Stephen Sondheim). Our musical productions are usually of a very high quality in all aspects, mainly due to the fact that our director is a highly qualified actress who demands excellent standards in performance and technical expertise….. we turned to the cwnewton group and their School stage department, who fitted the bill perfectly. They provided extra lights to bolster our own….improving the overall appearance greatly. School Stage has also dramatically improved the sound.
What we were most impressed with though, was the working relationship between the School stage technician and the children in our own team. Not only did they educate and support the team, with lessons on how the equipment worked and then the encouragement to use them independently, but also the resulting enthusiasm which has led to some to view the role of technical crew member as a viable pastime, rather than simply a job to be volunteered for. We therefore recommend School Stage very highly for all the excellent work they have done.

We have been using cwnewton groups School stage department for lighting and drape hire for 5 years now. In every aspect of the company's work I have found them to be proffesional, reliable and flexible.
As Head of performing arts my main focus is always on the action on stage.
